About me
I am currently working towards an MA from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in the inaugural year of their postgraduate acting course - the MA Theatre Lab, focussing on the development of post-Stanislavskian ensemble work.Additional information:
"A career making performance... the 'perpetual day' speech could rival any climactic moment seen on the RSC stage...a star is born" THE STAGE on DOCTOR FAUSTUS
"Blyth captured perfectly the essence of a man torn with this most desperate of struggles and was mesmerizing to watch" THE TAB on DOCTOR FAUSTUS
"Blyth was arresting in his monologue, and tender in his portrayal of Faustus' frustration and intensity" VARSITY on DOCTOR FAUSTUS

"Tom Hartill and Benjamin Blyth's verbal sallies are better than Wimbledon. The two actors hold us, laughing with them, beguiled by their talk, identifying with their insignificance". Plays International on R&GAD
"Benjamin Blyth (Guildenstern) and Tom Hartill (Rosencrantz) lead an excellent cast. They manage to be flippant and serious, frightened and inventive, as the story of Hamlet proceeds offstage without them" The Stage on R&GAD
"The two title characters are wonderfully played by Benjamin Blyth and Tom Hartill. Both have great comic timing and work well in this comedic partnership. Blyth's quirky Guildenstern has something of David Tennant's Dr.Who about him against Hartill's simple Rosencrantz and the two also demonstrate a great knowledge of Music Hall, Slapstick and Variety in their bowler-hatted performance" British Theatre Guide on R&GAD
