About me
After tours in Cornwall, (just had time to sail to one venue for 'The Mousehole Cat'!), Bristol, Dorset and performing in 'Save Our Spaces' at the Edinburgh Fringe plus playing Connie Carter in the new Poldark series for BBC 1, recent work has involved taking lead roles in several short films and an on line promotion for the Devon Wildlife Trust plus voiceovers.Adapted my stage play, 'A Father for My Son', about Kathleen Scott, (Captain Scott's Wife) for BBC Radio 4. Somehow my performances of Kathleen led to me being presented to the Queen....! You never know where art will take you!
Love radio, stage and film work and enjoy sailing, singing and dance.
Acting experience:
Graduate of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Have worked in stage, film, BBC Radio 4, role play and audio books.
Additional skills:
Sailing (skipper own yacht), Car driver
Additional information:
I was awarded a Shackleton Scholarship to tour my one woman play, 'A Father for My Son' to the Falkland Islands earlier this year - what a privilege to work in the islands. Besides performing I also ran some acting workshops, meeting lots of lovely people.
