I am reliable, hard working and extremely versatile actress. I fully engage within the creative process and communicate well with directors.
My training started with the National Youth Theatre two week intensive course, when I was 16. I then went on to do a two week 'Introduction to Screen' course at LAMDA. I completed my degree in 'Theatre and Performance' at the University of Leeds. I have also completed the 'Foundation in Acting' at the Oxford School of Drama. We had classes in; voice, movement, Shakespeare, acting, improvisation, film, singing, animal studies and stage combat.
Outside studying, I have been a member of a theatre company for three years called 'The Hungry Bitches' performing original shows which were taken to the Edinburgh Fringe (2012/13) and National Student Drama festival (2013). These were mainly ensemble based pieces where a lot of dance/physical theatre was involved.
Whilst in Leeds as a student I did some work with Slung Low theatre company. I was a performer for their interactive piece 'Knowledge Emporium' and also was the producers assistant for a period of time. I found their work to be incredibly exciting and intuitive.
I have also had experience with Theatre in Education. Practically I have ran acting workshops within homeless shelters, prisons and pupil referral units. I have had no prouder moment to when I saw our participants perform a play to their peers.
I am now working as an actress and developing my show reel. Please see my list of experiences and videos I have uploaded to see examples of my work.
