Highlights

I trained as an actress at Bretton Hall College in West Yorkshire so have experience of a variety of acting genres. Since then I have taken on a number of amateur roles in comedy theatre, musical theatre and pantomime (more recently, Lady Jacqueline in 'Me& My Girl', Harriet in 'Nobody's Perfect', the Snow Queen in 'The Snow Queen' (NODA award winning show), Adelaide Adams in 'Calamity Jane' and am currently in rehearsal as Polly in 'Fawlty Towers'.
Although not a trained dancer I am capable of performing different dancing styles. I am a quick learner, always willing to try something new. My choice of careers and my working life over the years has given me many experiences which all lend themselves to creating characters for many different roles; I have been a financial advisor, a retail manager for a sports company, a Police Officer (including time within the Mounted Section), a primary school teacher, and now I have a company that promotes phonic work with children.
I have travelled extensively; to America (working on children's summer camps), to Australia & New Zealand (backpacking for 4 months), to India & Pakistan (through my time as a Police Officer), and many times to Europe. I have directed children's plays in the past and have become more involved in the backstage requirements of stage shows, giving me a better understanding of the requirements of creating theatre.
I am keen to expand my theatrical experiences into film and television work, including presenting roles.
