PERSONAL REVIEWS
"Sydney K. Smith deserves recognition for a sustained comedic performance; he was unrecognisable!" - As You Like It, North West End UK
"Sydney K Smith indulges in plenty of scene-stealing as a Huggy Bearish Touchstone." - As You Like It, Broadway World
"A hilarious turn from Sydney Smith as John, who’s such a bad actor his lines are fed to him via headset — well, no good was ever going to come of that." - Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Radio Times.
"Sydney Smith has one of the most important attributes of any actor in that he draws the eye whenever he is on stage. He was also a superb Monsieur Merlot." - The Butterfly Lion, InSuffolk.
"I must tell you how enjoyable Sydney Smith was as The Princes of Morocco and Aragon were: I had to check my programme to make sure they weren't two separate actors!" - The Merchant of Venice, Derby Telegraph.
SHOW REVIEWS
"I'll be laughing into next week." ***** - Magic Goes Wrong, The Sun
"Exquisitely choreographed mayhem." **** - The Play That Goes Wrong, The Independent
"A dizzying, dazzling display of meta-theatrical brilliance." ***** - Peter Pan Goes Wrong, The Stage
"This is a gripping and ultimately touching couple of hours, made all the more compelling by Daniel Buckroyd’s staging."
**** - The Butterfly Lion, The Guardian.
"'Sweetpeter' is the kind of play that can change a person's perspective indefinitely: it's a work that sets out to enlighten and it succeeds admirably." - Sweetpeter, TimeOut.
"A Stand out show on an overcrowded Fringe...It's gripping." **** - Stand By Your Van, London Evening Standard.
