Project Ascher 31st

Clemens Ascher's project "The Red Drink" uses elements of advertising to create a series of portraits that feature nameless products. At first glance the products attract attention, but as they're unbranded, the focus shifts to the character.

Initially Clemens intended to use film, but he chose digital route when our Stuttgart team came up with a specific device link profile that perfectly mimics analogue film, with its distinct hue shifts that are particularly noticeable in skin tones and very difficult to reproduce by manual colour grading.
