Garrick House Ltd

Garrick House Limited was a company run largely by Stephen Wischusen in the 1980's and early 1990's. The company moved from the Nell Gwynne Theatre in Hereford to the Lyceum Theatre, Crewe in 1985 and produced weekly repertory theatre seasons as well as working as a touring house for incoming Productions like Bill Kenwright's Joseph and his Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat etc and also as a cinema. The company expanded to include the Theatre Royal in St Helens and productions would play at both venues.
According to Wikipedia in 1992 relating to Worthing cinema "Garrick House Ltd, the operator of the cinema, was subjected to a winding up order by the High Court on the 29 January 1992. Neville Russell, a Brighton based firm of chartered accountants, were appointed liquidators".
The theatres trust also lists Stephen Wischusen as Leasing The Theatre Royal Hyde in 1985.
