Run by artistic director John Dunne, Irish Theatre presents...is supported by a number of theatre workers including producers, writers, directors and actors. With an artiistic policy which focuses solely on new work, the contribution by other theatre workers is fresh and innovative.

John Dunne is a writer, producer and director with over thirty years experience. He has run a number of theatre companies, all sharing the same ethos as Irish Theatre presents...

John's most notable work includes his trilogy of Irish plays (Famine, Easter and Belfast) as well as a trilogy of plays set in the Cooley mountains. For other people John has produced and directed Mary Kenny's Allegiance and this year, John Maguire's Visteon/Ford Occupation. John is about to tour his own production of Cooley Women.
