The course at The Royal Academy of music was invaluable to me. It is an excellent course with excellent teaching and facilities. I cannot recommend it highly enough and would advise anyone lucky enough to gain a place, to bite their hands off and be on the first train to baker street! Thanks to RAM I have a much improved singing voice, I have an excellent knowledge of the voice and how it works, and am now a very confident actor. I am currently on a No.1 UK tour with a play and this is mostly down to the confidence and training I gained on the course at RAM. Good luck to anyone applying.

The course at the Royal Academy is the best thing that happened to me in my life. I found my artistic heaven at RAM musical theatre course: every day brought a new task to perform with passion and imagination, every week came along with some special event, concerts in well-renowned venues, masterclasses with professionals I've always worshipped, every month I got to work on projects with directors that knew how to bring out those unique qualities that can make me different in a world where everyone is so talented… Every minute was completely fulfilled, leaving me with a baggage of artistic and human notions that make me now scared of nothing, and thrilled to walk into auditions and regard the (once scary) panel as a normal audience. Years after my graduation in 2007, it's still bringing lots of benefit to me, mostly thanks to the brilliant mailing list and word-of-mouth that allow us ex-students to get amazing job opportunities. The words "Royal Academy of Music Musical Theatre Course" are like a magic formula, and everytime I mention them, people immediately regard me with awe and respect, and I am so proud to say that everytime I watch a show or attend an audition, I notice that fellow ex Ramers are always faultless in energy, dedication and professionalism.

I got a lot out of my time here. It's imperative that you gel with your teacher, and then everything else fits into place.
